Copy Trades Help
Everything you need to know about connecting accounts and configuring your copy settings.
1. How copying works
- Master account – The signal provider account that opens and closes trades.
- Slave account – Your personal account that will automatically replicate trades.
- Choose a master from the Marketplace, select your slave account, and configure your risk settings.
- Monitor and manage your active connections on the Copiers page.
2. Main copier settings
Example: Master opens 1.00 lot → Multiplier 0.5 → Your account opens 0.50 lot.
- Balance – Sizes trades based on the ratio of your balance to the master's balance. (Recommended)
- Equity – Similar to balance, but uses real-time equity.
- Fixed lot size – Every trade uses the exact lot size specified in your settings.
- No scaling – Replicates the master's lot size exactly.
3. Copy behaviour options
4. Account Limits (Settings)
Global limits apply to all trades on your account. Manage these in the Settings page.
Limits total concurrent trades. If reached, new signals are ignored until a position closes.
Settings → Show Limits → Set Value → EnableMobile Tip: Once enabled, your current limit (e.g., 5) is visible at a glance in the Settings dashboard.
5. Advanced Risk Management
These advanced features help protect your trades automatically:
Automatically moves your stop loss to break even (entry price) when the trade reaches a specified profit threshold.
Stop Loss (points): Distance from entry where the new SL will be placed (e.g., 20 points).
Example: When trade is +30 points profit, SL moves to +20 points.
Dynamically follows the price as your trade moves into profit, locking in gains while allowing room for growth.
Activation (% of TP): Alternative trigger as percentage of take profit.
Initial SL (points): Starting stop loss distance from entry.
Trailing Step (points): How far the SL trails behind the price.
Example: With 10-point step, if price moves +50 points, SL moves to +40 points.
Where to configure:
• Account-level: Settings page → Show Account Limits Settings → Enable Break Even or Trailing Stop
• Copier-level: Copiers page → Edit Settings → Advanced Trade Management section
6. Symbol Filter (Copier-Level)
The Symbol Filter feature allows you to control which symbols (currency pairs, commodities, etc.) are copied by each copier. You can use either a Whitelist (only copy specified symbols) or Blacklist (copy everything except specified symbols).
How It Works
- Whitelist Mode: Only trades on symbols matching your patterns will be copied. All other symbols are ignored.
- Blacklist Mode: All symbols are copied except those matching your patterns.
- Case-Insensitive: Patterns match regardless of uppercase/lowercase (e.g., "eurusd" matches "EURUSD", "EurUsd", etc.)
- Regex Support: Use regular expressions for flexible pattern matching.
Examples
Whitelist Examples:
eurusd→ Only copy symbols containing "eurusd" or "EURUSD"eur→ Copy all EUR pairs (EURUSD, EURJPY, EURGBP, etc.)^eurusd$→ Only copy exactly "EURUSD" (exact match)- Multiple patterns (one per line):
eurusdgbpusd
→ Copy EURUSD and GBPUSD only
Blacklist Examples:
xau→ Copy all symbols except those containing "xau" (e.g., XAUUSD)btc→ Copy everything except Bitcoin pairs- Multiple patterns:
xaubtc
→ Copy all symbols except gold and Bitcoin
Tips
- Use simple patterns like
eurusdfor partial matching - Use
^symbol$format for exact matches only - Test your patterns carefully before enabling - incorrect patterns may block all trades
- Each copier can have its own Symbol Filter with different patterns
💡 Location: Copiers page → Edit Settings → Symbol Filter
7. View Trades (Settings Page)
Each account in the Settings page has a Trades button that opens a modal window showing your live trading activity and history.
Open Trades Tab
Shows all currently open positions on your trading account in real-time:
- Symbol name (e.g., EURUSD, XAUUSD)
- Order type (Buy or Sell) with color coding
- Lot size (volume)
- Open price, Stop Loss (S/L), and Take Profit (T/P)
- Current profit/loss (green for profit, red for loss)
- Open time (when the position was opened)
History Tab
Shows all closed positions from the last 30 days with pagination (25 results per page):
- Symbol and order type (Buy/Sell)
- Lot size
- Open and close prices
- Final profit/loss (P/L) with color coding
- Close time (when the position was closed)
- Navigate through pages using Previous/Next buttons
💡 All trade data is fetched live from your broker, ensuring you always see the most up-to-date information.
8. Browse Symbols (Settings Page)
Each account has a Symbols button that helps you discover the exact symbol names your broker uses. This is essential because different brokers may use different naming conventions.
Features
- Search functionality: Type any part of a symbol name (e.g., "EUR", "GOLD", "BTC") to instantly filter the list
- Pagination: Browse through symbols 5 at a time for easy viewing
- Detailed information: See trade type, lot size, digits (decimal precision), minimum/maximum volume, and enabled/disabled status
- Real-time data: All symbols are fetched directly from your broker
Why Use Symbols Browser?
Many users don't know the exact symbol names their broker uses. For example:
- One broker might use "EURUSD" while another uses "EUR/USD" or "EURUSD.fx"
- Gold might be "XAUUSD", "GOLD", or "XAU/USD"
- Bitcoin could be "BTCUSD", "BTC/USD", or "Bitcoin"
💡 Pro Tip: Use the Symbols browser to find the exact name, then use it in your copier Symbol Filter settings to ensure trades execute correctly.
9. Managing your copiers
Head to the Copiers page to:
- Edit Settings: Update risk parameters or multipliers on the fly.
- Stop Copying: Instantly disconnect and remove the copier link.
